White primed and fitted the wing mirrors this weekend.
I also noticed a leak coming from the brake master cyclinder switch. I originally installed this with PTFE tape around its thread. I refitted the switch with PTFE after noticing the leak, and the same thing again today; leaking again! I assumed that maybe I had wrapped the PTFE tape badly, but I put a piece of PTFE tape in the brake oil (Dot 4 by the way), and it slowly gets disolved by the brake oil. I was thinking of using Loctite 567 or maybe 577 instead of PTFE tape, or maybe even a copper washer.
Has anyone else had problems with PTFE tape on brake oil threads, or any suggestions to an alternative seal?
Thanks
