Scotland Tornado

Thanks for the comments. I dont have a farm, just a few acres or so and I am definitely no farmer, unless owning a mini tractor with snow plough counts??

The jury is still out on the colour, but I am tending towards the colour scheme of Tornado's latest demo; yellow with black stripping, even my missus thinks it looks great. However, I am also and thinking of dark blue with silver stripping, or maybe even red with white stripping.....

Cheers
Ian

I also like this sort combo, say a darg brittisch racing green with yellow stripes.

a bit like on those model cars

Mark, mmmm you gave me an idea there:idea:, my car is already red but with black stripe, I like the gold stripe, could be a quick makeover in the offing.

Glad to be of service LOL. You could always get the stripes in vinyl to see if you like the look in person before paint. Then again, you may not really need to paint. You'd need the wheels in gold too, but that's no biggie.

You 40 guys have so many colour options to choose from if following period car schemes. With my P4 I'm basically stuck with red, yellow or green. So red it is! LOL

Started on the interior this weekend; made up the rear panelling which I will cover in leather. Need to cut the hole for the window and add the bulge.

Its 4mm marine ply, very light, gives a firm base for covering with leather and hopefully shouldn't deform over the years. What other material would you suggest ?

I've also used 4mm marine ply, but mine will be skinned with powder-coated aluminium to match the rest of the cockpit.
Regards
Andy

I have now prepared and primed the doors ready for painting. I also fitted vents to the front panels as suggested by a few people earlier. I have also fitted the front clip fasteners and made up some fixing clips for the front apron.

No its single glazed only. Maybe as part of a future upgrade I'll change it out as I have sound insulated the doors, sides and footwells, plus padding in the rear marine ply framework so the glass panel may be the weak link in the sound deadening.
