RCR40 Lower Ball Joint Grease Boot PN

Does anyone know a replacement PN for the lower BJ grease boots, or the BJ itself? I’ve searched extensively on this site with no joy.

It would be great if RCR would post a wearable parts list for things like this, either here or on the RCR website.

And yes, I’ve tried contacting RCR directly more than once, but I’ve not received a response.

Also, for anyone searching for upper ball joint boots, here’s the info for Energy Suspension polyurethane boots that fit nicely.

Just heard back from Bill, lower ball joint PN is K6136, but no known PN for the grease boot by itself. If I come up with a valid replacement PN for the boot, I’ll post it here.

``It would be great if RCR would post a wearable parts list for things like this, either here or on the RCR website": great idea! It could be part of the build manual which is accessible via user name and password only, if secrecy to ``outsiders" is an issue.

Just to follow up. I decided to replace the LBJ with a new Moog unit ordered yesterday from Amazon prime and received today…$27 shipped to my house!

It was poorly packaged and the threads were a little dinged up, but a little attention from a Swiss file and it was ready for install. The integral accordion style grease boot is a nice improvement over the older design. It went back together easily.

What’s the #number on those Moog ball joints? I ordered the K6136 but they are about 1 mm smaller in diameter than the ones delivered from RCR.
