Lower ball joint for GTD 40

Hi,

I need a new lower ball joint for my GTD40.
I have searched for parts and found another thread on this forum which which suggested item number QSJ663S (Ford Cortina) which does not fit. Researching further some vendors claim I need a Cosul/Granada ball joint. However I found that this part is the same, but just with a different part number QSJ711S (Ford Consul/Granada).

The picture below shows the part received and the old part:

Can any of you point me in the tight direction, or by chance have any suggestions on who to contact to find the correct part.
The smaller holes need to be above the vertical centerline of the joint. And the larger holes also need to be larger in diameter.

Seems like after som further research, I found the correct one. The lower balljoint used on mine is from a
Ford Cortina Mk3/4/5 and Ford Taunus in period 1970-1983.

As far as I am aware the GTD front suspension is Ford Granada Mk2.
I assume the front lower balljoint would also be Ford Granada MK2.

Only the upright was Granada but the suspension arms are GTD tubular items not from Ford.

I have now mounted the new ball joint - and the one from the Ford Corina mk3-5 / Taunus, as referenced above, fits my GTD perfectly.
The Granada mk2 lower ball joint, as suggested above, does not have the same bolt pattern/location to fit my suspension arms.
Maybe mine have
been modified at some point. I do not know.
