Knowing that space inside the spline of an RCR is limited at best, I am curious if anyone has moved the rear brake line tee to the engine compartment so there is only one brake tube running through the spline?

Also saves some material.

What am I missing?

Paul, my thoughts are if it's good enough for the big three, why wouldn't I do it on my car. So, YES, my Lola will have one larger brake line going to the rear and teeing off from there. My memory is poor, but I think they were 3/16" to the front, and 1/4" to the rear and then a tee. Others may have a different opinion, but that is how every Chevy I have currently is plumbed.

Access to the tee is probably why it’s up front instead of at the back of the spine. All the connections in the kit that comes with the RCR40 are relatively easy to access.

I also considered this or even running them on the outside of the spine down the drivers side. Didn't really want to drill more holes in the rear bulkhead for them. I did get a different tee, re bent the lines so they laid-fit more organized in the spine and built some blocks to secure them. Figured I had the lines may as well us them.

True. I am not using RCR’s brakes or cylinder assemblies, of their brake line kit, so I will put my tees and fittings hopefully where they will work out for me. But like you say if you have them, use them.
