Guys, just received an RCR D Type kit.
To help get started, it would be great to see a completed RCR D Type and take numerous photos and discuss various items with the owner, particularly those that have me stumped right now.
I am in Rhode Island so ideally it would be somewhere in the North East but I would be willing to travel further if needed.

Hello Hans. I do not know of any cars that are complete currently. Do yourself a favor and carefully read through Chuck’s build. He always documents what he does and why. There are a couple other guys on here building one as well, but I don’t know if they have a build log. The do comment on Chuck’s thread, so if you see them comment, click on their name, then posting. They add excellent information as well.
I just took delivery of an RCR Jaguar D Type kit. A detailed build blog will be forthcoming that will likely continue for a couple of years or longer, similar to the blog for the RCR GT40 started more than a decade ago. https://www.gt40s.com/threads/chuck-and-ryans-rcr-build.22083/
But where should that blog be?
I would like to keep it right here on GT40s.com even though a Jag D Type and a GT40 do not facially have much in common. But look a bit deeper and there is indeed some common ground.
