OK, check it out. Anyone heard of it? I have been following them for about 6 years now. It's basically an alternator built on the front of a water pump. It's not a good idea for your street car where you have A/C and a radio and all that stuff, BUT for an all out race car, this is what you need. It takes just 1/3 hp to spin it whereas normal alternators and water pumps take 7+ hp to turn. It also weights in at 3lbs as opposed to 8lbs of the normal alternator. So with that and all the added bracketry, belts, bolts, etc., you're saving around 10lbs and freeing up over 6hp. I know it's not a lot, but every bit helps! I'd check them out and give them a call if you have any questions. Their website kinda sucks, but you can tell it's an old company. Haha.
Anyone have any experience with these systems?

I helped design the racemate alternator. The alternator is good but the company is a joke. I quit due to problems with delivery. John is not honest. He will lie at a drop of the hat. Kay is his wife and she tries, but she has no control over the company.

I know that we shipped 100 units to a speed warehouse in Mich. I will try to find their name. They did stock units.
