I bought this car about 5 months ago I mean completely redid it. Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures while working on it. Here is the finished product and the only other thing I'm going to do is probably remove some carpet make some stainless panels for the interior. I think this is the only GT40 with a mendeola transaxle and it handles all of the 600 horsepower easily.

351W block, 408 now. 5 speed cable. Trans is about 3-4" longer than typical 40 trans. I am going to do something diff to the rear instead of the nudge bar. Car sits 39" tall, Avons stick like glue.

What did Gordon have to do with the carbs to make them work? They look like 48 IDA’s. 50mm chokes?

Edit: 'Sure do like the looks of the CAV seats over SPF's exact replicas. If I owned the latter, I think I'd switch seats. 'Just my personal preference...

I will post video soon. I have to remove fuel bladder panels to get at the coolant leak on both sides. Rear of front tires. Rubber couplings shrank in cold weather, and clamps probably loose. We went with Borla 8 stack EFI.
