Just purchased a DRB GT40 (2005 #63)

G'day enthusiasts, I'm from Sydney Australia and I've recently purchased a near finished car from a deceased's estate. While it doesn't have the engine & transaxle installed, I have those from another GT40 no where near as progressed so I'm dropping those in; along with Wilwood brakes, BRM pin drives wheels, QA1 coil overs, Lotus Exige seats and a few other bits; the rest is all but done.

I'd really appreciate someone with a DRB GT40 in the Sydney basin reaching out to help with a few technical questions, first being the tie rod ends are too short to reach the Torana LH / LX Rack. I'm contemplating an anti-bump steer kit to fit my C4 Corvette spindles. Problem is these will likely be purchased online and I'm reluctant to pay & receive them only to discover they don't fit. Steering arm to rack end is approx 9cm.

Anywho, all the best for Christmas and I'll anxiously wait for a reply, cheers
Mark

I've contacted Service NSW and they've advised there's no record of my DRB being registered for the build, so j guess I'll need to start anew. While I have receipts for the initial 2005 purchase, my first concern is the Beam & Torsion test. Given DRB is longer in business, I can't call to confirm if they've been granted certification across their GT40 series for this test. My ICV engineer has advised that perhaps certification from another DRB GT40 might be acceptable so long as it can be proven both vehicles are genuine DRB GT40s (I can prove mine is).

Are there any DRB owners on the forum that may be prepared to assist, if I make it worth your while?

Merry Christmas and a HNY...

OH, and I do plan on uploading a build thread once I've made room (clearing out a few motorcycles) to take my cars out of storage and begin the finishing steps fulltime.
