That's it in a nutshell David, and what does the Team think of the French Court's decision against Continental?
"Guilty of Corporate Manslaughter"
It's similar in a way to the A380 scenario but with far more tragic consequences.
Somehow it doesn't seem very fair but a Continental mechanic DID go to jail for the "scrap of titanium" didn't he?
Bang on David and Keith,
It is such a shame that the crowing jewel of the skies (the beautiful Concorde) that the US couldn't nick from us this time was pulled from the skies because of this.
Some things are meant to go on. Concorde actually (i believe) started to actually turn a profit.... But to me it's not about money. Sometimes it's about saying "What the Fuck, This is how good we CAN be, given the chance".
I'm sure there were a lot of operators and nations chuckling when our spineless governments used this as an excuse to take it out of service.
I for one am left whistful at the thought of riding on Concorde. Now I can (just) afford it, I would jump at the chance... 2 hours to New York...yes please!!!
RIP Concorde - gone, but not forgotten

Graham.
