Scam attempt with an unfinished kit?

Someone reached out to me through this forum, responding to my post about desire to buy an unfinished kit. However they were mostly asking me how much I was willing to pay, without disclosing ANY information about the kit or its state. The only information I have received was one image — and I wonder if this looks familiar to any of you? May be I am missing something but how can I know how much something is worth if I don't have any information on the kit, or an engine, transaxle, etc :)

I know that car. i almost bought it but I bought an ERA instead. That car was build by Jim Dunham. It is not a kit, he build it from scratch. The front is unique because of his height. PM for more info.

From what I remember, Jim Dunham builds were very precise. But, that is no way to offer up a car. We require on GT40S, a location of item, willingness of shipping said item, and detailed pictures of said item , and a price of said item. Obviously there is no way we can control when someone contacts someone when they are responding to a wanted ad. Move forward slowly and don’t send ANY funds until you have a whole lot of information and see it in person.
These are only MY thoughts!!!

Thanks. Only confirms my suspicion that it was likely a picture taken from the internet in the attempt to scam someone, pretending to sell a kit. I’m definitely not falling for that, thanks everyone

Just to add a note on above, looking for some 10x15 wine glass wheels . Got a message thru the Forum from a member “Jason “ stating his friend had one. All this supposed seller was concerned about right off the bat was how to get the funds. After repeated requests for pictures I get photos of 10x15 aluminum bolt on Ansens. After asking if he even knew what a Hilabrand is, darkness has descended.
