QUAIFE QBE62G EXPERIENCE

I'm looking to order one and would like to ask the following from those using one at present.

It'll be for road and track use.

The final drive choice - 3.50 or 3.75

Which did you choose and was it the best choice from your point of view and actual use?

Yes, I was chatting with them this afternoon.
It's the choice of final drive ratios.
I'm torn between.
Wanting the full Mulsanne, Kemmel, Blanchimont experience on those special occasions.
"When the the car is fully sorted"
I see Quaife has a .74 5th gear. My RBT has a 3.77 diff with .64 5th gear. That is so high I don't even use 5th gear on track days on my local track with half mile straights. Even Road America would be fine with that diff at 205 mph theoretical top speed. With a Quaife 3.5 and .74 5th you're at 190 mph top speed. 3.75 diff and .74 5th is 175 mph. Probably more important is highway cruising. It's nice to be turning under 2000 rpm at 60 mph so I would say get the 3.5 diff.

I just received mine, I went with the taller 3.50 ratio as Im using a 600hp engine and dont need to blow my tires away at every light, plus it will make more streetable with the taller ratio.

Perfect timing, Joel.

I got in touch with Quaife late November, also with a 3.50, and they gave me a build date of February 2025.

I ordered last week and they got back to let me know they had one from a batch almost completed.

Today, it's ready to collect.

I'll be getting my existing one reconditioned by them and if anyone is interested at some point.

Yours is looking the business.
