Quaife QBE62G - Clutch Release Arm Bearings Identification Help

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what the roller bearings fitment is for the clutch release shaft?
I've got a new gearbox being fitted and need to source them.

Any help, gratefully received.
It's factory built chassis 20.

Thanks

Hi, tap the bearing out and get a set of verniers on it and the shaft that rotates with. Then call these chaps and they will sort it for you.
Good luck!

Thanks Mark, Mick kindly gave me the correct spec bearing which incidentally was different from the one Quaife gave me and my brilliant guys got the car back together within one hour of going down to the Members Meeting 82 - to see an Epic Gurney Cup race even if the GT40’s were soundly beaten by a Ferrari 206s, well worth looking up on YouTube.

I admire everybody who can drive a GT40 at its true limit - it is a handful - but how can a 2 liter car from the same era be so quick! The video is a must for every historic race fan!

Glad to hear you sorted your bearing problem. I also use the Quaife ZFQ.
