man, they are quite long. i didnt even think of that. maybe the lexus v8 (1uzfe) would be a better fit than a RB26 or 2jz i guess.
This setup lacks the low speed punch of the LS7. So may not be as much “fun” around town.
Road & Track has just shed some very interesting light on the engine in the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350!
"The Mustang Shelby GT350 is powered by one of the coolest modern engines: A 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V-8 with a flat-plane crank, allowing it to rev past 8000 rpm. Ford estimates maximum horsepower at 526 ponies, but in reality, it's making closer to 600. Not bad for something without forced induction."(emphasis added)

Can't disagree. To me it sounds painful to listen to. I'm sure in the context of the car it's designed for its wonderful. But the v8 rumble is always a favorite.I'm sure that it is a fine engine and its sound appeals to many, but to me it sounds like a chain saw. I'll take the sound of the old Can-Am cars!
That engine is huge!
If you want a great power plant with way more than enough power to more my GTR along the 2017 Ecoboost Motor with Raptor Twin Turbos and inter cooler setup is just the ticket without modifying one internal part the engine produced 558 HP at 6200 rpm at 14 lbs of boost and when I tell you hit the gas pedal and hold on when the turbos kit in it’s a heck of a lot of fun
