While I wait for parts I've made a start on the wiring. As a whole it looks a bit daunting but once you break it down in it's separate components it's OK.( I have been reading the 300 page MS3PRo manual for some years now.
I've just mounted most of the Electical components and will start to wire up the starter and charging circuits then onto the engine management, fuel, ignition, fans then displays and controls etc.
Been looking at a starter battery. Lead Acid and AGM weigh a ton, 20-25kgs. So I looked at Li-on starter batteries, there aren't that many near the South pole in NZ and cost a bomb. One came up on the radar. A powersports PLFP-30L Motorcycle battery that is rated at 440cca but tests at 730cca and Weighs 1.6kgs. 700cca meant to be ok for a 7ltr motor. These have been used already in powerboating and other track cars and seem to do the business. The Battery man said be prepared to be amazed. I am already.
So it came home with me. I'll set up a jumper system to help things out.
