Jokes anyone? -

I think Bernie got into trouble for saying that too.

Marriage is sort of like a deck of cards,
At first it's all hearts and diamonds but after a few years
all you really want is a club and a spade!

Rik Mayall! Gosh, I never knew.... My of my all time slapstick alternative comedy hero.

Damned quad bikes, for that's surely what got him even if it was a few years ago...

RIP Rik, you'll always be a Young One..

Rik Mayall as Alan B'Stard:

"You know the really great thing about a fudged coalition is that neither of us need to carry out a single promise of our election manifestos."

How prophetic!

I've read that he was done in by exercise. He collapsed at home with a heart attack after returning from a run.

Yet more evidence to keep me firmly planted on the couch!

Very sad that he's gone. I only knew of him very slightly (from Blackadder mostly) but it seems that he was a pretty talented fellow.

Actually our staple diet on the farm when I was a kid was Kangaroo and rabbit.
Roo tastes pretty good, although I've never tried it on a Pizza.

That makes me hopping mad, eating skippy that's just cruel.

Reminds me of my mum she had a small holding few sheep and rabbits for the wool, chickens, ducks, turkeys etc. When the hand reared “pet” sheep were killed she used to send over bags of meat for us. They never tasted right when the bag had “fluffy’s” leg”, “snowy’s “ chop’s written on it.

One Christmas the kid’s asked “Gran what happened to the turkey’s you had?” "oh they went a little while ago dear, are you enjoying your Christmas dinner?”

We had a dairy farm and the cows were to valuable to eat, hence skippy and the Easter bunny got stewed. We also had chickens and goats and grew our own vegetables, so pretty much self sustaining.
We never made pets of anything except the dogs.

Luckily for the dogs I take it your not originally from :-

China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Philippines, Polynesia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Arctic or Antarctic

Should stress we made pets of the animals my mum on the other hand was totally ruthless with them. Grew her own vegetables, I miss the eggs as well :(
