Could this be the actual J-3? I have been led to believe that it was destroyed by Ford and have never seen any other information on it. Does anyone have any other info about J-3?

I've seen that listing, it helped a lot in compiling where all of the J chassis are at, I currently am missing J3 and J11.Check out BaT now. J10 is for sale.

J11 was one of the two unnumbered "J" chassis owned by Brian Angliss at Autokraft. 11 and 12 were incomplete chassis as of 1984 when I viewed them at the old Brooklands Autokraft works. Both were completed and sold on with a vigorous argument about which chassis would be "J12".I've seen that listing, it helped a lot in compiling where all of the J chassis are at, I currently am missing J3 and J11.
J-12 went on to be finished in the MKIV configuration, in 2018 it sold for almost $2 million. There is only a little talk about J-11 in this article however and I am yet to track down any other info about it.J11 was one of the two unnumbered "J" chassis owned by Brian Angliss at Autokraft. 11 and 12 were incomplete chassis as of 1984 when I viewed them at the old Brooklands Autokraft works. I don't want to tell you what price Brian Angliss offered either chassis to me! Of course, I didn't have that spare amount then, so two million is still just as far away now.....I'll dig out the photos and post them.J-12 went on to be finished in the MKIV configuration, in 2018 it sold for almost $2 million. My photos are of the unfinished chassis at Autokraft.Old photos of J-11/J-12 can be found in the media section.
They didn't come from Ford. I don't recall the exact details, but they were acquired from someone who had purchased a batch of cars and parts from Ford. Recall that several team cars were sold on to private individuals when Ford stepped away from the GT program. Harry Heinel in Florida owned several MK II and Mark IV cars that were sold from Holman-Moody.Rick - How did Brian get ahold of them from Ford?
BAT is not the best place for that kind of sale. Not to be negative but I don’t see this car hitting its reserve. Question mark cars don’t really sell well on BAT.

J3 is owned by Nick Soprano in White Plains NY. J3 was the test mule after J2 failure (Ken Miles accident). J1 was destroyed in stress test. J3 and J4 the rear clip opens forward. The only two JCars missing are J1 and J2. J11 and J12 tubs were not serialized by Kar Kraft. All the spare parts were sold a gone to englandCould this be the actual J-3?
