SGT40 - Driveshaft Sensor Help Requested

Reassembly of car following Quaife gearbox swap.
The car has fuel injection.

There's a bracket holding a sensor that looks like it was fitted to the gearbox (r/h side) offside receiving info from the driveshaft.
But, it doesn't seem clear as to how it was previously fitted.

It's a long shot but does anyone have any illuminating suggestions as to how it should be located.

Photo shows the "Z" shaped bracket and sensor.
The mocked up position seems to have the sensor too far away from the driveshaft.

Hi Jay,
That's the sensor for the electronic speedo and can run up to 1.0 mm clearance. The bracket just tweaking

Thanks everyone for the conclusive collective response.
The car is back together and had a shake down this afternoon.
From the construction of the bracket and washer marks it's looking like it has always been like that - 50mm from the socket cap screws and not 1mm

It'll need a new bracket making to properly rectify the problem.

The speedometer has always been accurate until around the 100mph mark.
The few times I looked down on the Mulsanne it was zero:).

I've just swapped an early Quaife gearbox for the latest version and there are one or two minor differences in casing design that needed a bit of adaption but overall it was straightforward - and just in time for the Members Meeting 82 this weekend.
