I thought it's about time I started doing my build log...

Here's a couple of pics of the chassis once I'd got it how I wanted it, with all the prep for powder coating done

So, the chassis is back from powder, and is now on a trolley so I can move it around. I've also done most of the interior paneling so will try and get the thread up to date and add pics over the next few days..

Have also made a start on drawing up the parts for making the suspension arms

I decided to remake a couple of panels here. Mostly because I thought they would fit better if they overlap differently to how they were originally made..

Will do my best to keep pics of the panels in the order that they were fitted

Not too happy with the fit of some of these panels. I also want to add the swage lines as a nod to the originals

So I've remade the top panels as mentioned in the last post. As well as adding the swage lines I decided to add a small 90° fold to the inside. Hopefully this overlap will result in a cleaner look from inside the car...

Last few panels for the interior are done, not many pics as the task at hand had my full attention...
I decided to remake the triangles so the lip down the front lines up with the panel above, and settled on an infill strip rather than any potential panel gaps

All panels so far.. After a scotch pad on the orbital sander and degreaser ready for coating
