Here are the ideal expansion tank caps to use if running a LS3, LS7 or LS9 engine. GM used a 18.5psi rad cap on the C6 Corvettes up until about 2010. They then jumped to a 20psi cap in the 2011 model year.
The aluminum expansion tanks by Canton and Moroso use a Standard SAE "A" size of filler neck. The best types of caps to use that take less effort to remove (not as frustrating) are those with the levers. These are the best choice as long as you have a bit of room above the cap with the lever "lifted". A side benefit is there is less strain on the expansion tank filler neck to apply or remove it.
The Stant part number for the "lever" type of 18psi cap is #10334

The Stant part number for the "non lever" 18psi cap is #10234

The Stant part number for the "lever" type at 20psi is #10335

The Stant part number for the "non lever" at 20psi cap is #10235
