Attaching SLC Door Panels

Wondering how other builders have attached the optional door panels. I was thinking of epoxying nut plates to the inside of the doors and screw the panel on. Or use plastic Christmas tree fasteners through the door panel which secure into the door.

I’d really like an invisible/hidden solution but haven’t found anything that would work,

Thanks!

AJ, thanks.

I have some neodymium magnets I bought off ebay but they don’t seem close to being strong enough. Is there a particular size or spec you recommend?

I used these:

The Mustang had metal doors, so I just epoxied magnets to the backside of the door and then to the door panel in matching spots, with the metal door sandwiched in between. For a fiberglass car, I would probably 3D print some buckets that would epoxy to the backside of the door and hold the magnets flush with the door after I had drilled holes for them slide into.
