Alsa Soft Touch Paint - Sample

Does anyone know where you can get a sample, or a paint chip of the Alsa soft touch paint? Just need enough to know if its the way to go for my dash.

Can’t offer you a sample, but I took the plunge and used it on every interior part I have. I added color where I wanted it and used the soft touch as the final coat. I am impressed with the feel and look. It does give the finish a matte look and does gives a textured feel like clear bra on a car.

I obviously don’t think it’s cheap looking. The way I painted my interior pieces with color gives pop where I want it. The good news is overall a lot less expensive than full leather or upholstery. It’s going to up to personal taste and pocket book depth.

My opinion may not help, but if you try soft touch, there are several brands out there, and if you don’t like it it’s easy to change.

Thank guys, I need to get a sample. I think I am going to use it for the "white" color on the dash, since those would be a PITA to cover.

Digging up an old thread on this topic.

Anyone have experience with the cheaper (and US available) version of soft touch paint from US Paint - Insignia Soft Touch Clear ES (PK3101) top coating? Looks like a quart kit runs $65, so that has my attention. My plan would be to use it on the dash and see how I like it and possibly use on the center console and other appropriate areas if it’s worthy.

Also found a spray can version called Tactile 2K from Creative Paints in the UK but would be a bit more expensive and difficult to get here to Texas.

Also just ran across a PPG topcoat called Vibrance Soft Touch Clear (VC5225) which is a two part clear recommended over their Deltron basecoats.

Anyone have experience with this product?
