Thoughts on a side mirror alternative

Rob, I like this setup and wonder if you could mount them as front and rear instead of side blind spot?? Thanks for sharing. David
I don't see why not. May need to lengthen the wiring a bit. I saw this setup on a highly modified early Bronco. It made me do a double check because I thought he didn't have side view mirrors. He actually had three viewers mounted inside on the center of his windshield. Left, center, and right view. I spoke to the guy that built the truck and he seemed to like the setup.

My rear view, The screen folds down flat if I want. when up there is no sight restriction. I get all most 180 deg. view

I like the idea of the mirror, but have up seen how bulky it looks on a mig-29? There is a Superformance dealer that is selling their cars with a camera installed on the roof; the image is displayed on the rear view mirror; the only thing I don’t like about their set up is how rustic the camera housing looks. I’m sure with some dedication something nicer can be made.

My roof mounted rear camera has completely eliminated blind spots! By the time the car alongside me is out of range of the image on the mirror, I'm picking it up in my peripheral vision.

In my humble opinion, the one from Superformance is butt ugly and takes away from the flowing lines of the GT40.
Rods solution is much easier on the eyes. It is very similar to the one on the C8 corvette.

Nice job Rod.
