Rick, aside from the seals for the side window vents, do you have anything for the side windows themselves or the headlight covers?
We had some self-adhesive clear silicone that could be used as a seal, but it did not work well on the curves. We could have them die cut from a flat sheet, but the tooling costs makes them very expensive.

Hey everyone. If you haven't purchased and installed Rick's AC Seal Kit, I highly recommend you do that. I live in Charlotte, and Rick's kit made a huge difference in the performance of my AC.

Time Machines is offering an upgrade to the Superformance GT40 with our silicone seal kit for the side window vents. This kit consists of molded silicone seal with pressure sensitive adhesive. This clear seal replaces the closed cell foam the factory uses. This seal improves air and water intrusion and is more attractive being clear.

Our kit includes material for left and right windows as well as alcohol wipes for surface preparation. You need to remove the vent using an Allen wrench and the existing foam seal (it will peel off and the adhesive residue will "roll" off with your finger)

Understand that the GT is not "waterproof" but this helps upgrade to "water resistant'!

Part number GT40P/21448 and it sells for $44.60 plus shipping. This works on the Superformance GT40 and may work on other brands but no guarantee that it will.

And our roof vent drain kit will be back in production shortly.

Hey Rick i just ordered a kit from your girl Liz. I forgot to ask does that come with silicone for the side window also--i see it for the vents?
Mark,

The kit is for the "vent/toll" window on the side plex. Your kit is on the way. The "A/C Seal kit" is a different product if that is what you were thinking. And yes, Liz is amazing! When I sold Time Machines to Greg he brought some new energy into the company and his finding Liz was a great asset. She is fearless...she just got back from moose hunting in Alaska.

Hi Rick. so each side window needs a seal for both the side window to the door AND a seal for the small vent. My question is does it come with the seal between the window and the door also?

Mark,

No, only the rectangular "vent/toll" hatch. If you have another vent (i.e. helicopter vent) it has been added as the factory does not install these. We do not have a seal for the door to plex window at this time. We looked at doing one, but the tooling cost puts it out of reasonable pricing. There are now 500+ Superformance GT40s in the wild but we have supplied less than 40 kits for them so far.

Got it. What do guys use these days to seal off between the side plexiglass and the door? im thinking a real thin maybe felt? any better idea?

Hi Rick, I plan to order the side window vent seal kit when our SPF MK l is delivered spring, 2025. I do have exciting news!! The SPF factory first contacts customers concerning their car with photos when the spider and body panels come out of the paint booth. We just received photos of our
