GT40s.com meet up at 2024 GT Reunion?

I haven't paid attention enough to the event schedule, and I assume that most on the forum will be attending the Fri dinner and/or Sat lunch, but would there be a point to have a forum members' get together at some point during the weekend? Even if it's Sat morning at the hotel for breakfast, something informal to put names with forum handles?

Am I overthinking this? Any interest? Any suggestions for time and place?

I’m in too. Just say when & where! What works best for those that may be more local and just visiting for the day?

I wish my health would allow me to be there. I would enjoy meeting up with you guys. My wife was going to drive me out, but she fell this past Sunday and has some broken ribs and nasty bruises. Please take lots of pictures.
Thanks
Regards Brian

I'd be interested.

I'll probably be spending most of my time (when I'm not volunteering or watching the races) hanging out next to my car (1030). I was told it'll be located near the entrance of the Reunion area.

Chris,
had the same question in mind...
My son and I arrived already at the Marriott, we will be at the dinner and also for Sat lunch.

When looking to the event schedule there is no GT40 action (at least from what I can see) on Friday morning!?

Suggestion:
Which day: Friday morning somewhen before 11:00
Location: @ BenL's GT40?
Time: Ben, when would you be there? (not volunteering)

We will be at the track today (Thursday) for some time to get orientation....

Look for some european looking guys were the son has outgrown his dad.

See you there

Markus

Ben, can you post a pic of your car so it will be easy to find for us (I’m sure it will be anyways )?

Nice kit car, does it have a bored VW 1600?

Will be at the entrance to the "GT Zone" at the track. While we have had some fallout with cars, what is here is killer! And the people are fantastic! Ther cars are only a means to connect people and we are all having a great time. Well, except me. I am halfway to suicide save for the fact that is the easy way out. Someone asked today "what will you do for the next reunion?" and my wife replied, "kill the bastard!"
