Reunion - COVID

I got an annoying cough last night. This morning I took a test and it came up positive.

Counting back 5 days, I probably was exposed in Pittsburg. I was a Friday's dinner, had breakfast at the Cranberry Marriott, gave lots of charity rides, had catered lunches at the track Sat & Sun, and got lunch Friday from the truck.

If you develop a cough or get a runny nose, I recommend testing.

UGH!! Sorry to hear that Ben. That was one of those things in the back of my head over the weekend but it seems I've managed to get through the weekend without that as a souvenir.

Thanks for bringing out 1030 though. It was fantastic to see it as the time capsule that it is! Get healthy my friend!

Welcome to my (and my Mrs') world, Ben!
'Mrs brought COVID home 'end of December, 2023...I caught it from her on Jan 2 or 3 of 2024 and hacked and barked until Feb 4, 2024!
'Guess it could have been far worse for all of us though, huh... ;-)

(Mrs had attended a 'girls night out' with 4 or 5 of her girlfriends.)

It's pretty rife at the moment I was on business in Boston last week and caught it, the local statistics said a 200% increase of cases in the past 14 days. Virtually everyone on my flight out of Logan to Denver was coughing and spluttering... It's been a week tomorrow and I'm still shaking it off, so a much more virulent strain than the past 2 times I had it.

Hello Ben,
sorry to hear - I hope you go through with mild symptoms only....
How about your wife?

So far it's just been an annoying cough, but that's been tapering off.

How about your wife?
So far, Ann has tested negative.

Boston has regular reporting of virus RNA found in wastewater (a good way to get data when people are not reporting COVID test results).

Each year, the results go down in the spring and then back up in the late summer, This year, it seems to be going up sooner.
