Fresh air vent

So i am thinking about how to make the hood vent in front of the windshield into a fresh air duct. Does anyone have pics on how they might have done it?

My car, which I own now for about 13 years and along the way have been modifying, had fresh air ducting from the NACA ducts through a hose to the interior of the car.
What has been annoying me the whole time is that when I wanted to open the front clip, I had to manually disconnect the hose from the NACA duct on both sides and reconnect them when closing the front front clip.

Center fresh air vent, there is also some that have a butterfly valve in the middle of the duct with a lever arm that is through the demister grill.

Geert, I love your color combo on your car. I think I am making a very similar looking car in colors. Great idea on the air vent and hope it works well.

This looks nice. Are there baffles/drains in those aluminum intake boxes in case of rain?

Hi Rod, my apologies for not responding, I totally missed it!
I have nothing at all in the air box and have not get wet in the cockpit however I must be honest that I do not do much driving in the rain.
