So....what are the dimensions of the John Wisher uprights? Somewhere between 200mm and 220mm between top and bottom balljoints, with 8 to 10 degrees of SAI?

Re-worked the seat frames...I wasn't happy with the area over which the lap portion of the belts was going to be running. It seemed to be that the belt would sit over the lower abdomen, instead of the pelvis.

I also re-made the throttle pedal.....

And added a clutch foot rest...

I finished panelling the front-end of the car a while ago but hadn't made much progress with the rear, so I emptied the garage of motorbikes and lawnmowers, turned the chassis round (it sits on a large plywood box on oversized casters) and made a start on the engine bay.

The panel above the rear of the tanks has a circular hole for access to the fuel senders; I think there should have been some matching covers, and six rivnuts set into the panel, but these aren't present so I cut some disks from ally sheet with nibbler / snips / file...

Before I seal everything up, I thought I'd add some sound deadening to front wheelarches and rear firewall.

This is probably futile, isn't it? I was just hoping to cut down some of the racket as the pebbles ricochet against the wheel arch when I skid through the gravel trap on the outside of Cascades, Oulton Park. Again.

Looks damn smart though, as you say may not make much odds, I have left mine as a stripped out panel only so expecting sever tinnitus!!

Started plumbing. The reason for the loop of Goodridge braided hose above the pedal box is to allow some slack for fore-aft adjustment (this being an adjustable pedal box, obvs).

One more clip still to add in this pic; this is rear brake line to tee-piece.

Very nice, one thing I did underestimate what quite how much I ended up routing in that cill section, I should with hindsight have routed some down the passenger side but there is quite a bit to get down there, damn good job you are doing !!

Tell me more....I was thinking aircon hoses down left sill (they being relatively bulky and inflexible) and probably also throttle cable (linkage is on the left on Holley and Edelbrock carbs, yes?). Hydraulics and loom down the right sill...I can always add a couple more lengths of aluminium angle to act as cable guides.

I used a power trunking for mine sort of worked, image of the drivers side as below, so I had brake, then battery, then loom, bleed pipe from front rad, fire extinguisher pipe and finally the a tube for the throttle cable (Mick suggested as if it snaps you can pull a new one through).
AC as you say on the passenger side plus clutch pipe.
Then I added the vent pie (not in this photo) for the fuel tank as they vent both ends
So it got really tight and I think I need more!!!

Just had a thought, have you got your fuel tanks yet as that angle aluminium my not allow them to fit, from member the gap between the chassis and the tank is very tight, in my lower hose in the image above, it was only just missing the tank

Eddy, if you haven‘t done already: change the direction of the 90 degree water fittings, collision with the hand brake mechanism otherwise.

Hi Udo - thanks for the suggestion! As it happens, the water pipes are still free to rotate for now...

Another small suggestion is to get the brake and clutch pipes in and filled before too much goes in round them, I have a leak on the T piece which was about where you have yours and it was a real pain getting back in there to nip it up

A bit more panelling yesterday...

I know some of you SGT builders have made a few of rear panels removable, either with self-tapping screws or Rivnuts & setscrews. Which did you choose? I currently have this one removable:-

which gives me good access to the left-rear brake line, back of fuel tank etc.
