Windscreen fitted

Good evening gents ,purchased a screen off ricky Evans,a1 service today roughly lifted in to place fits pretty good all 4 corners fit but I have a gap along the top and the bottom,is there a definitive guide to fitting does the spider need to be heated propped etc,do you have to manipulate, spider backwards and forwards.
Thanks shaun

It was my first task as i started with the spider, then doors, front clip & rear clip (as Mike Pass told me to do so in this sequence).
I started with a 635mm GTD screen that came with my project.

My spider was out of shape after 25 years of changing hands & storage.
I had to heat up the roof with infrared heaters and with a heat gun on the inside to get it in shape.
Front of the spider was attached to the frame. Rear was hand tight bolted so I could move the spider a bit.
I used some timber and a jack as a help.
Some cold wet towels to cool down the spider on the heated spaces when you reached a satisfying shape otherwise it would memorise back to its previous shape.
Took a few carefull hours.

When the screen fitted like a glove I bolted down the spider so i would keep its shape.

In the mean time while doing body aligning I ordered my heated screen at Ricky Evans as I didn't wanted to use the non heated screen that came with the project. When the painter was ready with his paint job, the Heated Screen from Ricky Evans fitted like a glove.
