Pressure venting? Still a double-nostril and no canards - so I’m thinking they’re doing whatever they can to get the front end back on the ground..

I thought I read that they had tire clearance issues when the suspension was compressed on those tight turns and was hitting the bodywork and slowing the car down? If you notice it was only cut out on the drivers side due to the weight of the driver and probably mostly tight left hand turns.

It was the G forces on the banking at Daytona that caused the tires to rub on the traditional MKI nose. The MKII nose with higher arches was developed before Le Mans.

That's the high side on the Daytona banking. Highest loading and most suspension compression.
