howdy fello GT lovers--Wanted LF lower control arm Superformance MK II see attached pics - this one is bent is why i need it. Mach

Could you make up a jig using the other one, cut out the bent tube, have a new tube made up to replicate the good one by using the bent one as a guide as to how its been fabricated and braze or tigweld the new piece in?

(Obiously removing the bearings etc and using insert bosses for the jig instead of the bearings)… lots of race shops around.

yeah thought of that--talked to my Metal guy but he says it could be done but really doesnt want to do it. Superformance sells one but wants $700 ouch!!

If I remember correct, the last price for a lower Gelscoe arm was region of a £1000 bare. So all in all $700 is’nt too bad for an SPF one and you can reuse your bearings etc

Im with ya on that Morten--i searched long enough-just pulled the trigger with SPF. You reach a point and say just gettur done geez
