Uprights, Knuckles, Centerlock Adapters and Hubs

Hi there,

I am looking for a source to get centerlock hubs, uprights and front steering knuckles from. I am building a replica, although not a GT40 replica, and I would like to use parts that I can purchase from somewhere. What are the best sources for these parts? Are these kit car companies selling those individually at reasonable prices?

I would love to hear back from you with a few suggestions.

The Countach replica that I am building has a suspension setup that is somewhat similar to the Gt40 rear suspension setup:

Wondering what the alternatives are. Uprights and hubs are most important for me, the control arms/rods are easy to make.

The Granada stuff is getting hard to find now. Have a look at the WillwoodMustang 2 Prospindles. They do them with a 2" drop and a variety of 4 and 5 bolt hubs and brake setups. One of our NW members has them on his scratch build with 15" brake discs!

Hello. I've just started poking around this forum and, I'm a noob when it comes to building kit cars (please be gentle). I've purchased and took delivery of a GT40 chassis flat pack from GT Forte'. Minus the roll hoop and missing horse shoe assembly, the frame is nice and tacked up (I can fabricate whatever is missing). I would like to focus on getting the frame to roll right now.

I've never worked on anything other than stock suspension componentry. Building out suspension from scratch will be completely new and I hope I'm headed in the right direction.

Rear uprights. GTDs and Tornados used to use fabricated steel uprights with Ford Granada Mk3 rear hubs.

Its still an abundance of granada uprights around on ebay. I still have few boxes with them, front and rears. Its most likely all heading for the skip as cleaning up lots of old GTD and other old GT stuff gathered over the years.

Hi All a silly questions, the bmw e36 kingpins did anyone used it on the front of there build? I saw the one bloke that build his car on the youtube channel used the audi A4 uprights that he made shorter to fit.

I used corvette c5 with an aluminum custom piece to address pickup of steering rack. Bearing carrier accommodated knock off adapeter much better with chev bolt patterns. Super easy to source...would advise
