Superlite GTA

From that angle, kinda reminds me of...

I like everything I see so far on the GTA. At first, I was not crazy about the idea of using a 4 cylinder but after doing some research, it looks like a pretty stout little engine capable of high hp. The clay model and renderings look awesome as well.

Question for Fran...
Will there be any options beyond the baseline kit like with the SLC? If so, any idea what those would be?

I agree, but we don't want to turn this into a cluster like the "other" forum. If Fran decides to show another pic, can we see a front head-on shot (if it's finished)?

We had a visit at the studio from a couple of oem executives yesterday ...they had heard about the Apex and they were very excited to see the progress....

We got some great feedback and I found it interesting that they had even heard about the car.....I guess some of the big guys do pay attention to us little people.....

It's going to be a GREAT car. The way it looks, along with the kick @$$ engineering that goes into all of your cars, will make this a new segment leader in the industry! (sub $50k original design kit car) The SLC already OWNS the $50k plus segment.

Looks really good Fran. The roofline is the only thing throwing me a bit at some angles because it looks tall but I'm sure it will all come out once its done. After I build my SLC i might look into this before the RCR40 or FFR Cobra. Im going to try to come out to check out the shop sometime but I'm planning on making an order this time next year. Im House shopping right now and head back to Afghanistan in Aug for another 6 months, fun.

So, are you sure there is no way to squeeze a ford 3.7L V6 from the Mustang into that machine? I'm greedy

The 4G63 is one of the most solid four cylinder engines ever built. Stock internals can handle more than the 3.7. And the aftermarket for the 4G is huge. It's the engine I should've used in my Razor.

Thanks for your service. I recently separated (AF Pavehawk Gunner).

I did 10 years NAVY and got out last Aug. to do contracting. I fly UAV's now.

Im thinking about torque more than HP potential. You can get close to 500 hp out of the 3.7 which should more than enough. Thats not going to be an option though so we get what we get.

I think we may be losing out on some of the younger crowd too.

<~ younger generation
<~ disposable income

Speaking as the younger generation w/ disposable income, we want a big block V8 in everything!

There ya go folks, you heard it here first; please make certain all projects are planned accoringly for that request; TIA!

Alex, did you also pick up a 917? Or are you still waiting for Fran to slip a BBF into one?

Five hundred horses is easy-peasy for a 4G. And it'll make pretty solid torque, too. (although, at higher rpm than a v6, but not much)
