In everyone's opinion, what would be the ultimate donor car? 95-99 low mileage eclipse/talon turbo with a salvage title? (or) A high mileage car with straight doors and a clean interior (knowing you will rebuild the engine)? Do most have plans to rebuild the 4g63? Being I have little knowledge of the 4g63, how can I be sure the car has it? Are all turbos 4g63's?

A few points...

I would go with a high mileage and do a complete engine rebuild. These motors need to be gone through, honestly. I had a gsx that I eventually parted with when the turbo started crapping out...less than 100k miles.

For wheels, I am going to assume you will be running the F14 or CF5 since those are the only wheels forgestar makes in 18s. I would prefer the CF10, but no dice yet.

The front bears a bit of a resemblance to the Lotus Esprit and Elan concepts. The rear is better looking! British minds design alike?

I have the F14 on an Audi TTS. It looks far better in person.
