SUPERFORMANCE GT40 Owners Manual

I recently received this new Owners Manual from Blas. As a new SPF40 owner, this is exactly what I need now. The document is pretty extensive and clearly took a huge amount of work to create. I was also pleasantly surprised to see so many pages of photos of my very car being built and painted as part of the manual.

I'm pleased that it will see updates and extensions as Blas can make them happen. I hope he gets a lot of input from you experienced owners.

Hi Dale, Dave here. Which type of manual did you go with, the electronic version or the bound print style? Our SPF40 is in production now so I'm waiting to order my manual until the roller is complete so I can get as many "under production" photos of our car as possible in our manual. BTW, throw in a photo of your 40 if you find time for your response, would love to see it! Dave.

Blas, are these available to non SUPERFORMANCE GT40owners ?? There appears to be so much information that it would be useful for all.

I can’t see why a non SPF’ers would want a copy. The factory photo section, dealer section, and owner photo sections would all be empty. The addendums pretty-much useless. Factory drawings useless too. I’m just not sure it would really be of any use to non-Superformance owners. As much as I would like to sell copies, it’s not about making money. I don’t think it would really be appropriate to do so to non-SPF owners at this time. Nothing really translates to other manufacturers cars. I know they want to prevent unauthorized copies being shared. So each custom manual is easily identifiable in many ways unseen. Generic versions would just invite trouble. Already had someone try to sell me a Cobra Wiring Diagram, which was just a ripped off copy of my drawings. That was a costly mistake for him. So for now I feel it best to say no….

Blas, not trying to offend you, or steal any propriety information. Perhaps this should only be sold through Superformance dealers, as we require any other sales to be a forum supporter. Many many members have been extremely happy with your help, and appreciate all the time you have put into this project. We all need to work together. I personally am building a RCR Lola T70, so you are correct none of this would help me in any way.

That is correct Blas. I’m not singling you out as all forum members pay when they sell parts or a car. The information you provide is invaluable to the Superformance guys. I am glad that you have done this for them. This is used to provide forum upgrades and keep the forum going.

Please feel free to send me any suggestions you might have for additional information to add or any corrections.
I'm working on some new addendum's at the moment, so those of you who received your custom Owners Manual package when they delivered your new car, please be sure to contact me offline for updates (New Addendum's #12-#16 are available) I don't know who you are or how to contact you.
We can now color print & bind the Owners Manuals, and the MKI and MKII Wiring Diagrams can now be 2-sided plastic laminated to allow you to trace the wiring with a grease pen when trouble-shooting an electrical issue.
In 2025, I will finally moving forward on the Daytona Coupe wiring diagram, which will complete all the SUPERFORMANCE vehicles currently offered. Maybe a Daytona Manual update next summer and a few other surprises.....
