SPF Faux oil tank straps

Looking for pictures of a SPF with the tank straps that are straight, not the more current builds that have straps with the offsets. Specifically, photos of where the straps mount at the windshield. Thanks for any help.

Not sure it this is what you are looking for? If so and need closer pictures I will get what you need.

Thanks for responding. Looking specifically for where the straps attach to the cowl, just below the windshield. In order to see you would need to remove the front end or it could be pulled forward a few inches to see. I appears your car is like mine with off set straps becase you have the reservoirs upfront as opposed to under the cowl.

This shows the straps starting centered and over top then mounting in original location . Notice the shape of the straps to end up at the windshield. Hope this helps.

I believe it is a silicone rubber mat to bed in the aluminium tank.

David, what a beautiful 40 you have! And a Tool Room Edition to boot, just Wow. Our SPF MKl is in production now, we also are going with the Gulf livery, but the dark Indigo blue base color. Will be very close to this one below. We are very excited!

Line clamps, silicon hoses, and got rid of that El Cheapo looking washer reservoir.

Your analogy of jewelry is very good...kinda like accessorize.
I have spent a year sorting mine out and making improvements and willing to share now what I have found.
