The pictures show no add-ons to the bodywork, and although I've never seen the car in real life, I've never seen any pictures of it with any add-ons at all (except for a set of secondary restraint pins to help hold down the rear clip) The article hinted towards reservations about driving a "replica" to those speeds, but said nothing detrimental about its stability after the drive. I have heard indirectly also, that the driver in this article was impressed with the RF40's high speed stability.
