I slightly modified my engine mounting bracket to accomodate the install of Low-Profile Oil Cooler Thermostat for LS Engines, 180F. I used this as I am going to install an oil cooler. Is the lower port on this where the oil pressure sensor would go for the KOSO unit?

The thermostat referenced uses a 1/8" NPT thread for sensors. The Koso does not, so you will need an adapter.
Is what I was wondering was IF that was the location that th sensor should go, or is it somewhere else on the block?

Not knowing if KOSO is a term regarding a type of oil temperature sensor, I'd say that based on the diagram of the bypass, that the 1/8" NPT is only good for oil pressure sensors (not temp), or aux oil sourcing for turbo, etc. Too bad they don't make one using -10 or larger fittings, and it's not like there aren't enough hard 90º corners in the oil gallery already.
With the 1/8" NPT port angled toward the pan, I would verify the sensor you would screw into that port would clear the pan/block in that area. Attached is another photo installed on the block.
