Don't have it yet, so no pictures. Built in Scotland by Autosport Engineering and shipped to the U.S. for assembly. Assembled here and a 5.0l Ford Coyote by Modular Motorsports engine installed. Built as a pure racecar, and now street legal, reportedly has 650 hp.

Checked AE’s website, looks like they’re primarily a performance shop for production cars. What exactly did they build?

Good morning Jeff and congratulations. Sounds like an interesting build you have coming. I'm in the middle of mine and live just north of Tampa on west cost. Keep us posted just 2 1/2 hours from you. We are going to be up there Thursday through Sunday for a GT ride with other GT's Alpharetta Ga, Brass Town NC. .

I've been told they built the components for the car in 2013-14 and shipped them here for assembly.

I don't have all the paperwork yet, as the car won't be delivered until later this week. Hope to know more then. I had assumed they did the bodywork and all. Any information you could add would be helpful.

Jeff, Just being on the cautious side with all the scams out there and seems odd you have a car coming and no pictures for an overseas purchase. The name of the company that you provides has history here in this 2018 thread. Hope your getting what your hoping for. Keep us posted.

So I jumped into the GT40 build by buying a GT Forte Flatpak frame. I was told they have frames in stock and should only be 4-5 days to ship. March 12/18 I paid for it, last email he answered March 21. I have sent 3 emails since, one last week and another a few days ago. NO response.
But to see if there games happening I sent an email from another address asking for a shipping quote for a flatpak. Within hours I got an email back stating shipping price. Hmmm, this seems rather shady.
After reading some other posts about Darren George from Gt Forte, I realised that similar behavior has...

The car is in Wisconsin. I'm buying it from a collector there. I have pictures of the car, but have not seen it in person. Always risky buying something online, but as the Russian saying goes, "He who doesn't take risks, doesn't drink champagne."

Glad it's in the states as I read your post as coming from Autosports Engineering UK. Sounds like you have it covered. Very nice looking car. David
