If somebody has 0 posts, or a relatively low number, it's pretty obvious it's a scam.

I posted looking to buy a Digidash for my parts inventory and got 3 emails all saying the same thing - "Contact Dave he's has one he's willing to part with at a fair price. Pm him [email protected]m"

Unfortunately auto parts scams have become a huge thing recently. These scammers have infested Facebook as well. One thing you can do to protect yourself is ask the person to send you a video clearly showing their face, the parts in question, and have them say your name and the date.

How are you all paying these people - if with PayPal, they will not let this happen assuming you didn't send it "to a friend".

Scammers typically insist on being paid via Zelle or Venmo, which have no protections for fraud.
