GT40 Side Mirrors

Hoping someone recognizes the mirrors on the car. They look like they might actually provide some review vision.

I agree with Neal, Vitaloni Californian.

I would suggest getting both sides with convex lenses to improve field of view.

Here you go Randy. I have them on my Pantera. Very narrow field of view and be careful mounting them as they have little adjustability.

Did you get the convex lens? And they still have a narrow field of view?

In any case, I plan to install an always-on review mirror/camera. The camera will be in bump on the back of the spider. So I am not as worried about field of view. I am more concerned with rear quarter panel blind spots.

The convex are very subtle, and the lenses are small compared to modern mirrors so yes the field of view is a bit small, but I think they would suit your requirement for filling in any rear quarter blind spots.

Professional paint job by Bodytone of Wokingham, Le Mans Blue, double Bright White stripe. 347 stroker engine, reconditioned block originally manufactured in 1991. Audi gearbox code APP/APN, also spare unused code 5N gearbox. A/C, locking fuel fillers, Holley carb, electronic ignition, standard brakes, quick release wheels with spinners.

Car completed in 2004 and registered as new, less than 500 miles on the clock.

Ian, Thx for the suggestion. I had not thought of electric mirrors. The Mini is probably one of the few cars that are small and sporty enough to blend with a GT40. Cheers, Randy

My left side Viatloni is flat but magnified but still ineffective so I put a round stick on convex which solve the problem but they are small and need to be positioned very carefully or the entire mirror is useless.
