Hi everyone. I have just commenced my Roaring Forties project and thought I would share my progress, experiences, issues and successes along the way.
Hopefully I will also receive comments, suggestions and recommendations along the way from the much more experienced members.
I built a DRB Cobra some 30 years ago and greatly enjoyed the challenges and great satisfaction on completing and registering the vehicle. In many ways the build was almost more enjoyable than driving.
My chassis is currently in production and I have attached some images of the very early stages.

My chassis has progressed to the “Rotisserie” for final welding and then off for powder coating.

Also purchased my transaxle as they can be hard to get. An Audi O1E.
