You are just using hood pins to secure the clams instead of latches?

No i have inside the clam some trunk style latches.
on the left and right side, for extra safety i installed the hood pins

Driven 1500km this Year with some small Problems with the Gearbox Adapter Plate and Starter Motor. The Aluminium Plate warped under heat and the Result was a not engaging Starter Motor... After spacering the Starter it worked fine (lets hope forever )
