Ford 302 V8 book needed

Hi all

I am new to Ford V8's and want to understand the engines and options available to me for my GT40 build. I am currently looking at a 347 stroker for my car and therefore I am trying to find a good book to take me through the 302 engine, how it works and options available to me.

At the moment I've found this book:
How to Build and Power Tune Ford Smallblock V8 Engines Speedpro Speedpro Series: Amazon.co.uk: Des Hammill: Books

Can anyone recommend any other suitable books or is this one any good?

How to rebuild small block ford engines" ISBN 0-912656-89-1

The first two are by George Reid, and published by SA Design. The third is by Tom Monroe and published by HPBooks

Check out the tech article section of the Comp cams website. They have a lot of articles from magazines showing lots of build-ups using a big range of parts which are dyno run to compare them. A lot of free useful info although obviously concentrating on their own cams.
Quite a lot of stroker info as well.
