Cost of new/rebuilt ZF vs. Cost of new Quaife

Hi:

Does anyone have some recent price information on the cost of a new/rebuilt ZF transmision for our cars vs. the cost of a new Quaife transmission?

Thanks,

While at the Pittsburg event there was a guy/company at the far end of the vendor area that had new ZF transmissions. We asked the cost and got a sorta vague $35,000.00 number. All his stuff comes from Germany.

Thank you, everyone, for your replies. I had not realized that ZF prices had gotten so, well..., gross!

seems like germany got a shipment of new ZF RBT Boxes, but everyone knows you can get top dollar so regardless of supply they seem to stay expensive.

That guy was from ZF. They get their boxes from RBT and brand them with ZF upper cover. Earlier this year I called RBT and inquired about buying a trans. They said there was a wait list and they could not provide deliver date. I asked to be placed on the list. I then asked how many were above me, and he said over 300!

By the way, I have a newly rebuilt ZF trans for sale.

£10,224.50p is the UK list price excluding tax.
£12,269.40p including vat.

That was the price collected - no pallet delivery.

I don't know what you are paying stateside - It'd be interesting to know.

I collected one from Quaife this afternoon and got some free stickers, a lanyard and key ring :)

The guys there said that demand had increased recently and a lot were going over to the States.
