C5 / C6 Brake Rotor & Caliper Question

For those Corvette experts here, I’m realizing that due to the design of the rotors and brake calipers that my 17” wheel options are even more limited and challenging. I had originally planned to use the Wilwood SLC56 front and DPC56 rear brake kits which has a caliper overhang of 1.45 inches and .88 inches respectively. Here lies the issue…this overhang eliminates at least one company’s wheels use (unless a 3/8”+ spacer is used) and am still researching my last two options that I am aware of for any period looking Hailbrand or BRM style wheels.

Here’s my question, is the Wilwood 1.45” and .88” caliper overhang the same as any of the stock rotor & caliper options that were available for any of the C5/C6 year models?

I am getting the sense that my only real wheel option is the Image BRM6 wheels for the best period look in a bolt on 17”.

BTW, I would consider going the knockoff adapter route (which would add about 3/8”? but I am more concerned with minimal backspacing of the wheels and preserving that deep dish look as much as possible.

If anyone has their wheel order specs for an Active Power build, it might help me when it comes to ordering through Image Wheels (if that’s my only option).

I don't have my brakes yet, but went with 18" wheels because of the availability of tires and improved clearance for brakes. Your wheel builder should be able to tell you if your intended brakes will work with their wheel. I'll sell you mine and save you the tr
