Yes, Nad and I are in Class 4 together with a mixed bag of tricks, anything from Mazda's to Ferrari's with a few Morgan's thrown in for good mesure. All the 40's are in Class 8 together with Dave's R42 and Ian is in Class 9. Really looking forwards to trying the CC round Goodwood, lets hope it stays dry!

Well - they all did very well.....

Taking first or second in class across three classes - a total of 5 Awardsrockonsmile

A few pics from the day.

Although not all the Porsche got Woodcote (Shell) corner quite right, as this young (17:eek:) chap in a 911 found out...

That's all Folks......

See you all at Brighton Speed Trials on Saturday 8th September where we intend to discuss the format for next Seasons Competetive events.

If you're interested in taking part, as driver or helper, whatever, come along and see what its all about - you'll not regret it..:)

Thanks for the pics, Paul. I must say it was very much like the good old days with so many club cars and drivers on such a hot sunny day. We all had a great time together and the banter and easy rivalry was huge fun, must do more of this in the future, and get more cars and drivers involved again. Frank

Looks to have been a superb day - shame I missed it, I will try not to next year!

My car is now back together, thanks to help from Frank - just needs testing, look forward to seeing you all at Brighton and Longleat if I get in!

JBW

@Paul,

I know it's not a GT40, but it's a Ford (and I've had one of those)... how did the black 3-drs Wing do? How many horses?

John

PS. I heard the Gulf car was a special development car from GTD, although I might be mistaken. Anyway, many development parts on it.
