Avon tires

Does anybody know of the best place/price for obtaining a set of Avon 215/60/15 and 295/50/15 tires?

If your local tire dealer can't order them, you can purchase a complete set from Roger Kraus Racing. Check the company's website. A.J.

$1500 is about the price, if you find them cheaper lets us now but I couldn't.

Well I ended up paying $923 for a set of rears from Roger Krause Racing and $500 shipped for a set of fronts from another forum member who used them for mockup only. $1423 spent and overall I'm happy with them. Haven't mounted them yet as I'd like to paint the sidewalls. Does anybody have an idea on how to do this. I'd like to paint "AVON" on them.

Sherwin Williams/Dupli Color make tire paint pens in various colors, available from Summit Racing and others. I have not used one to vouch how effective or long lasting they are though.
