Everytime I hear/read someone referring to smog pumps on '66 cars I'm always 'thrown' for a moment. I keep forgetting Cali had smog pumps that early. As I recall (and I'd hafta look it up) the rest of us weren't 'blessed' with those contraptions until '68.
