Ambient Light Sensor/DTRL

Has anybody used a factory Ambient Light Sensor yet to control switching from DTRL to Lights on (similar to light set to "auto" on column)? I know this is typically run by the BCM's in factory cars, but I can't see why the sensors can't be used to control this manually with PDM? I assume it's just a voltage reading.

Guess I answered myself. Infinity Box diagram

I'm not using Infinity Box but I guess shouldn't be an issue. May use the linked sensor instead of a factory one.

I’m using a coach-1 chassis harness and it has the function built in as well. I think they sell a replacement sensor as well.
